UEPU WHĀNAU

This Uepu is responsible for, but not limited to;

• Developing guidelines and leadership that promote te whare tapa whā both within the Kura and for whānau at home.

• Exploring and leading professional learning and development options for whānau. 

• Organising and co-ordinating social and whānau hui with specific purposes and outcomes. 

• Co-ordinating support for whānau in times of need – tangihanga, hura kowhatu. 

• Social events - BBQs, beach, mahinga kai, fitness, sports, puna kohungahunga. 

• Organise events for the needs of rangatahi, kaumātua whānau. 

• Tikanga Kaupapa. Whaikōrero, karanga, waiata, te reo Mãori, Uepū tane/wāhine, whānau class transition.
